About
Ever had that one friend who turns a simple dinner hangout into a mini event with handmade place cards? The one who prints out calendars and habit trackers just for fun? The one who dives headfirst into every DIY project? Yep, that’s me—and it all started the day my mom brought home our first printer. (Thanks, Mom!)
For the longest time, Apt 305 Studio felt like a distant dream—one of those “maybe someday” ideas. But let me tell you how it became a reality.
One December afternoon, I was busy printing out elves for my family’s annual themed Christmas party (yes, we go all out with themes!). In the middle of cutting and assembling, a thought popped into my head: “Wow, I really love doing this. Maybe I could turn it into something more.”
But before I could even entertain the idea, that little voice of doubt crept in—you know the one. The voice that whispers, “Oh, come on. It’s just a hobby. Your friends and family will always love what you make… but there are way better designers out there.” And just like that, my fear of failure and uncertainty took over, and I let the idea slip away.
For years, I poured myself into my career, climbing the ladder and checking all the boxes. But no matter how busy life got, I always found time to help friends with personalized invitations, create fun date night cards for my husband and me, design party decorations, and put together all sorts of little goodies to stay organized. It was my way of keeping my creative spark alive, even if I wasn’t ready to fully embrace it.
Then came 2022, and something shifted. I started to realize I was climbing the wrong ladder. The academic world—my dream for so long—no longer felt like the right fit. After a lot of soul-searching and trusting my gut, I made the bold decision to leave my graduate program and pursue another dream: the world of motivational and bookish stickers and inspiring stationery.
Terrifying? Absolutely. But here’s the thing—I took the leap. I said yes to the scary, uncertain, and beautiful journey ahead. And now, after all the twists and turns, I’m right here, pouring my heart into Apt 305 Studio.
Today, I use my creativity not just to design beautiful stationery but to bring a little bit of joy to life’s everyday moments. My hope? That Apt 305 Studio inspires you to connect with your loved ones, celebrate the little things, and fall in love with the magic of stickers and stationery just as I have.
So, thank you for stopping by. It truly means the world to me that you’re here, sharing in this journey. Let’s create something beautiful together!
